A proactive, structured, and continuous incident response strategy is a crucial component in building effective cybersecurity resilience for Providers. This approach should include the development of a comprehensive incident response playbook, thorough post- incident review , and the establishment of a multidisciplinary incident response team with adequate technical, legal, and communication competencies. The strategy must be integrated into the overall cybersecurity framework and supported by sufficient technological infrastructure, clear escalation processes, and reporting mechanisms that comply with regulatory requirements. Through well-thought- out planning, regular testing, and cross-functional and inter-agency collaboration, Providers can enhance early detection capabilities, minimize incident impact, and accelerate operational recovery in facing ever-evolving cyber threats.
