Ardmac installed over 10,000m2 of sandwich panels. Architectural scope included partitions and ceilings (some fire rated), doors (various types), windows, interlocks, fire stopping, handrails and accessories along with process equipment enclosures. Ardmac installed the architectural fabric to maintain the controlled environment. Very low humidity areas necessitated the panelling system to act as a vapour barrier.
Air loss through conveyor openings was overcome by the introduction of rapid roller doors. This interfaced with the conveyor to open and close for the minimum time to allow product to pads through the wall.
