Consider these travel tips before leaving.

Before hitting the road, it’s crucial to make sure your car is dependable. While dealing with a breakdown on your daily drive is frustrating, being stuck in an isolated area can be far worse. To prevent this situation, carry out some basic maintenance checks prior to your trip. Begin by examining the six key fluids in your vehicle: engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid. Take into account the distance you’ve traveled since your last service and the length of your upcoming journey to identify which fluids may need topping up. If your trip coincides with a scheduled service, it’s wise to take care of it in advance. Also, check your tire pressure and consider rotating the tires, ensure the brakes are functioning well, inspect all belts and hoses, replace the cabin and engine air filters for better air quality, and confirm that all lights are operational. By following these steps, you can minimize the risk of car issues and concentrate on enjoying your adventure and creating lasting memories.
