DRESS CODE
At The Wellington Academy we hold very high standards and we appreciate your support in helping us to maintain these standards.
As a school we expect all students to arrive to school in the correct school uniform. Jewellery - as a school we only allow: 1 watch, 1 small plain stud earrings, 1 necklace or charity Bands. Body Piercing is not permitted. Nose studs after the age of 14 must be clear retainer or covered. Hair must be of a natural colour and not an extreme cut. A general guideline is that it should be appropriate for a working environment. Students may wear clear nail varnish only and make up must be natural and discreet, if deemed necessary we will ask students to remove their make up. No hats or caps in the school building. Any clothing worn under uniform (e.g. T-shirt) should not be visible.
Please discuss our expectations with your child and work together to ensure they support the school dress code. Thank you for your support in this matter.
