PERSONAL PROPERTY Students should only bring to school those items which they will need to use during the day. Expensive items should not be brought to school. Valuable items brought to school are brought against our advice and instruction and is therefore at “the owner’s risk”. All personal items should be clearly marked with the student’s name, including watches and calculators. Although the school will take all the practical precautions that it can to ensure valuables are kept safe, it cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage. Parents are strongly advised to ensure that valuables are covered through their own household insurance. CARE OF VALUABLES IN PE AND EXPRESSIVE ARTS LESSONS Changing rooms are locked when not in use, however students are still discouraged from bringing valuables into school. As the PE and Expressive Arts Teachers cannot take any responsibility for items left in changing rooms
