“My daughter was given excellent support during the transition between year 6 and year 7, from both the SEN and Year 7 team. She was given opportunities to get to know staff and the students in her tutor group during the step up day which helped her confidence for the first day of term as she knew exactly what to expect. The enhanced transition she had with the SEN team was fantastic, giving her opportunities to meet the people who would become her trusted adults and to feel at home in the department, as well as the wider school. I am certain that it is the support from both of these teams that has enabled her to flourish in Year 7. She walks through the door with a smile on her face everyday, knowing that she will be welcomed and feel a valued part of the community.” Year 7 Parent
