NATALIA COMACHO There are few cars that have the cache of a ‘bug.’ The German peoples’ car lasted for generations and every time we get in one we feel like we are driving a prewar car. Natalia Comacho from Helendale, California, has had her ’72 Volkswagen Beetle for two years. The car features a slammed trailing arm front suspension, a 1,600cc single-port head, perfect pink patina complemented by white steelies, eyebrows, and a vintage roof rack. Looking good Natalia and we love the black and pink interior!
AJ VIGIL AJ Vigil out of Pueblo, Colorado, comes from a
rodding family and he bought Uncle Ray’s sweet ’64 Chevrolet Impala. The fully slammed chassis is also totally chromed. The Chevy 327 features an Edelbrock carb, an aluminum intake and a TH350 tranny, all with the full chrome treatment. The Intense blue paint is offset by a silver top and 13-inch wires for a just-right stance. It’s a beautiful Impala and we can’t wait for AJ to put his own stamp on the ride.
COLIN VASCIL Colin Vascil brought his ’74 Chevy C10 out for the Streed Rod Nationals North in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The sweet little square- body goes with 434ci small-block Chevy power backed up with a Turbo 400 and sits on a lowered suspension. Colin rewired the hauler with Painless Performance Wiring, and the paint is House of Kolor Tangelo with pink fading to purple flames. The interior has been redone in black and orange with Dakota Digital gauges. The truck looks awesome and we’ll get more updates next year.
