ing to these eternal truths. The day is coming, I believe very soon, when the Christian is going to be raptured, called home to glory (I Thess. 4:13-18). Someday you and I, like Elisha, will know the un knowable. The greatest of these unknow able things is found in Eph: 3:19, "And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God." In God's infinite grace He has allowed you and me to know the Gospel. The dearest story you have ever heard or ever will hear is the story of God's love in sending His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, into the world 2000 years ago. The Eternal God took the form of a man. He had to have a body because He had to be able to die. The Bible reminds us that the "Wages of sin is death." Without the shedding of blood there is no remission." God could not die un til He took that body in Bethle hem. Our Saviour was willing to take upon Him the form of a ser vant that our sins might be placed upon Him. He only, in His won derful mercy and grace, could take our place and die for us. He who knew no sin became sin for us, that we might be made the right eousness of God in Him. That is the most wonderful story the earth has ever received. Three days after His death Christ arose from the grave. He ascended into the heav- enlies and went back to the glory. He is there right now at the right hand of the Father. Our Lord is concerned about you. Has there ever been a time when you op ened your heart and received Him as your own? Open that life of yours and receive Christ. God has

Elisha knew the omniscient Cod with whom there are no secrets. God revealed these things to His trusted servant. Cod must receive all of the honor and credit. Job. 34:21 tells us, “The eyes of the Lord are upon the ways of man and He pondereth all his goings." In Prov. 15:3 we are reminded, "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good." Jer. 16:17 declares, “ For mine eyes are upon all their ways, they are not hid from my face, neither their iniquity hid from mine eyes." The writer of Hebrews puts it this way, "All things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." God knows what is going on in that life of yours. He knows every thought you think. He knows ev ery ambition you cherish. He knows every desire you entertain. God sees it all. How blessed to be reminded by Peter, "The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous and His ears are open unto their prayers." Not only does God know what is happening, but also He knows what is going to happen. God re vealed to His servant what was go ing to happen. Everyone has an inquisitive trait. Satan knows this weakness in us. He sees to it that there are some counterfeits to con front us. There are those in the world today who profess to know the future. Astrology is gaining ad herents daily. People want to know what is ahead of them. The fact is there is only One who can lift the veil and let us get a glimpse of what is coming. God, in His won derful Word, has shown us many beautiful revelations. Things that are going to come to pass accord- Page 34
