Do I need to use metal trims? Nuance is unique for being a trim-free system. No trims are required for finishing. Can I sit the Nuance panel directly onto a shower tray or bath edge? Yes. Nuance panels must be fitted onto a shower tray or bath edge and a 3-5mm gap left, which should be filled with a bead of Wilson Art Complete Coloured Sealant. How much adhesive and sealant is required for one panel? For Nuance and Nuance Designer: 1 x 290ml tube of adhesive is required to bond a 1200mm panel to the wall. 1 x 290ml tube of sealant contains 20 linear metres at a 5mm bead. For Nuance Acrylic: 2 x 290ml tubes of adhesive are required to bond a 1200mm panel to the wall Can I hang wall mounted items to Nuance panels? Yes, wall mounted items can be hung on to a Nuance panel as long as the fixings go through the panel into a solid wall behind. Do I have to use Wilsonart Complete and how should it be used? Yes, you have to use Wilson Art Complete Adhesive and Sealant in order to validate your 15 year guarantee. Wilsonart Complete adhesive is our neutral quick grab adhesive used for bonding panels to the wall. Wilsonart Complete coloured sealant should be used for all joints. Can I use a Nuance panel as a bath panel so it will match the rest of the bathroom? Yes, visit www.bushboard.co.uk and watch our installation video for advice on how to cut a 1200mm postformed panel for this purpose.
Working with designs and joints Patterns are not designed to align across joints, with the exception of our Nuance Designer Tiles. Whilst this is normal for natural stones and woodgrains, it will be more obvious on designer decors such as the Herringbone designs. However individual patterns will not continue over the joint. It is possible to design around this by using panels individually as accents. These designs do work perfectly well in corners where aligning horizontally creates a natural effect. Carrara Marble Slab Acrylic and Designer Tiles are the exception; With Carrara Marble Slab Acrylic the decor is specifically designed to be installed to create a book- matched effect where the mirrored design between the A and B panels will align across joints. Nuance Designer Tiles are specifically designed to align like tiles, meaning that when the panels are fixed together, the design continues seamlessly Panel trims - Nuance & Nuance Designer All Nuance panels are waterproof so do not require trims. However, if you have a preference to use them they are available in satin silver, white and black. Panel trims - Nuance Acrylic Available in satin silver and white. Types: internal, external and end cap. Vanity Surfaces Laminate vanity surfaces come with a matching edge strip. Wilsonart Complete Adhesive To validate your 15 year guarantee Wilsonart Complete adhesive must be used. Nuance must be bonded to the wall with Wilsonart Complete panel adhesive and as this is not seen it is a cost effective neutral colour. Designed to fit a heavy-duty mastic gun, one cartridge installs one 1200mm panel. Also available as a sealant in ten colour options to co-ordinate with the full range of Nuance designs. What if my ceiling is taller than the height of the panel? The maximum height of the panel is 2420mm and 2440mm for acrylic. If you require taller than this you can butt joint panels, to the top, to achieve the desired height.
