MARIE-PAULE ST-JEAN (née Chagnon) de Vankleek Hill est décédée paisiblement, en tenant la main de son époux, le vendredi 9 février 2024 à l’âge de 93 ans. Elle était la tendre épouse de Lucien St-Jean; la fille de feu Philibert Chagnon et de feu Lucienne Desjardins; la mère bien-aimée de Denis (feu Linda Sauvé), Jeannette (feu Pierre J Larocque), Richard, Guy, Brigitte et Nathalie; elle fut prédécédée par son fils Robert; la grand- mère adorée de Julien, Andrée, Valérie, Guy, Mélanie, Patrick, Nicholas, Martin, Véronique, Shawn, Ashley et l’arrière-grand-mère de plusieurs arrière-petits-enfants; la chère sœur de feu Roméo, feu Raymond, Christian, feu Ghislain, feu Alcide, feu Ghislaine, feu Aurèle, Edgar, feu Réjean, feu Estelle, feu Noël, feu Gilbert, Murielle. Lui survivent également plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, cousins, cousines, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. La famille tient à remercier le personnel de « The Palace Long Term Care » d’Alexandria pour les excellents soins durant son séjour depuis 2018. MAUREEN CASS Peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2024, in her 87 th year. Beloved wife of Cecil for 69 years. Loving mother of Wayne, Audrey Dumoulin (Keith Stacey), Gayle Rutherford (Wayne), Devon (Crystal Grapes), and the late Shawn. Treasured grandmother of Julie (Patrick), Nathan (Sarah- Jane), Nikki, Melody, Jeremy, Adelle, Sloan, Jesse, Shawna, and great-grandmother to Lily, Caleb and Liam. Dear sister of Murray Allen (Shirley) and predeceased by John Allen (Ruth). Predeceased by her mother Viva (Johnston), her father Percy and her-in-laws Frances (Newton), Wilfred Cass and brother-in-law Leslie Cass. Maureen was deeply passionate about gardening, dedicated to farming and had a profound love for animals, particularly her cows and horses. She devoted many hours to volunteer work at Cassburn United Church. The family would like to thank the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital for the excellent care and attention, as well as a special thank you to Elisabeth’s close friends who went to the hospital to visit her.
