Scholarship Announcement
The ISDS Foundation board of directors announced they would award six scholarships at $6,000 each (2 for each dental school) for 2023. Current D3 students enrolled in the third year of an accredited four-year traditional pre-doctorate dental program in Illinois may apply, with scholarship recipients being announced
in early July. The application deadline each year is May 31. For information, visit: www.isds.org/scholarships
MOM provides free dental care to patients who otherwise do not have the means or access to care. The clinic is set up in a convention center and patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is met. There are no criteria or limitations on who may be treated other than they must meet the minimum health standards. It takes 1,000 volunteers to run the clinic. Volunteer to change lives.
