Ocean Bottle Recycled With the sale of every bottle Ocean Bottle funds the collection of 25 lbs of plastic, equivalent to 1,000 plastic bottles and they invest in people-powered waste management. Ocean bound plastic waste is collected by locals in coastal communities who can exchange plastic waste for money, healthcare, tech products, school tuition and micro-finance at their local Plastic Bank. Since launching in January 2019 Ocean Bottle has funded collection of equivalent to 30 million plastic bottles and by 2025 their goal is to collect 7 billion plastic bottles before the bottles enter our oceans. While Ocean Bottles mission for good is truly inspiring the bottle they have designed is equally impressive.
