Thank you to all of the consigners and buyers here at the Bowman Fall Horse Sale with the Select Breeders Session Offering. We are proud of the horses here and honored that so many were excited to join us in selling today. Our goal with this session has always been the best horses we could offer; not the most horses we could offer. Quality over quantity rings true as you look through each consignment! The folks that we asked to join us in the Select Breeders offering are selling some of the best colts around. There isn’t a producer here that we wouldn’t buy from….and most we personally have bought horses from. Each program offers their unique genetics and proven bloodlines. Cow, cut, ranch, rein…you name it- there is a horse in this offering that fits your type and budget. There are generations of horses and people in many of these programs and you will see that as you walk through the horses on sale day and visit with all of these great folks. This year we are excited to offer our first Reyzin The Boon ‘18 offspring. We have mares and recips safe in foal to Boon for a lot more 2026 babies and upcoming sale consignments for next years sale. We are proud of this yearling we anre offfering this year and excited to see where she ends up! Boon and Travis Young are currently gearing up for the NRCHA Worlds Greatest Horseman in Ft. Worth during the month of February at the NRCHA Celebration of Champions. Right now they are over $40,000 in NRCHA earnings. We couldn’t be more proud of all this duo has accomplished together! PRF Purrfect Star (Smooth Talkin Style)- Tornado as we call him- is the sire to most of our lots this year. He is our “ranch stud”. He natural services our mares versus Boon who is frozen semen AI only since he is still campaign- ing and winning money in the NRCHA. Tornado is kind and gentle; we ride him through calving before he goes back with mares. His foals are kind and willing and there isn’t one we haven’t loved that we have kept the last couple years. Excited to see what direction you take the weanlings and yearlings by him as they can go any direction you want! We have worked hard to put together solid, money earning, proven mares that produce outstanding offspring with these two stallions. Many have been with us for several years and most of them we have kept offspring of theirs and are in our Cavvy of ranch horses, show horses or broodmares.
