#70 for TSI for 2024 born bulls.

LCC 4727 OF 1863 2126

Top: 3% WW, 3% YW, 2% CW, 3% REA, 2% Marb., 1% TSI. A younger natural born bull that had a 105 at weaning in the Larson herd. This bull ranks good for minus fat and still in the Top 2% for marbling. Don’t be looking for yield grade 4 or 5 cattle at harvest here. The industry needs to double think fat cover and age of days on feed. Yes, we get paid for pounds, but becoming a niche market may have implications down the road? 120 Fink 2126 x Flash x Gold Standard CE BW WW YW MILK MCE MTL SC CW REA FAT MARB TSI 8.7 0.4 85 152 17 7.9 59 1.4 50 1.10 .006 .42 324.0 DOB: 9/15/2024 Reg #: M1011216 Tattoo: 4727

* The best bull of any breed that we have worked with. * Disposition that he passes to his calves is unbelievable. * At his age the EPDs are normally depressed by younger bulls (with less accuracy), Gold Standard is still top 20% WW, 15% YW, 4% Carcass and 7% TSI. * Considering all traits, he may be one of the most proven, balanced bulls in the breed. * Generally a teat and udder improver on his daughters.

Top: 9% CE, 20% BW, 15% WW, 15% YW, 15% SC, 6% CW, 10% REA, 20% Marb., 4% TSI Gold Standard is one of the all time balanced Charolais bulls ever. Disposition is incredibly good. Typical pedigree for Finks and Larsons with Gold Standard x Free Lunch. We have sold probably close to 1,500-2,000 bulls in the past with this same pedigree. These kind of bulls work great on any breed, or crossbred cows. Buyers know when they see the color they are Charolais influenced and they know they have a real shot of working great for them. Prediction - with new yield grade measurements on the horizon, we think the use of Charolais bulls will double or more in the industry, when that happens?? Top: 25% YW, 15% CW, 15% FAT, 20% TSI Thick topped steers, keeper heifers and pounds on the scales. White bulls do that and Fink/ Larson sired cattle grade well also. At some point, yield grade 4 & 5 cattle, with excess fat, low ribeye, etc., will be discounted completely - like they were a few years back. Portion sizes can be controlled with a knife. Currently there is no discount until a 1,000 lb. carcass - some predictions are that discount will be lifted an go to a 1,500 lb. carcass. Who knows?? Getting them bigger has to be a different trend instead of making them fatter as it is now!
