Hondo beefed up her EPDs as an older animal usually gets hammered on EPDs with age. A lot of times, older females get hit because they can’t have enough calves in a lifetime to hold up to the computers!! Hondo is proving to get a lot of the right spots filled for long term. This bull can do a lot of good. Good in terms of carcass to a set of calves, pounds (and not an extra 200 lbs. of fat) at harvest, that’s inefficient to put on, plus extra days on feed when more dead or crippled cattle tend to show up.
