Assistant Professor of Accountancy TCU Neeley School of Business

Anne Albrecht is an Assistant Professor of Accountancy at the Neeley School of Business, Texas Christian University. Her research focuses on auditing, financial reporting quality, fraud, and corporate governance. Anne teaches auditing and assurance at the undergraduate level. Before her faculty position, Anne worked as a certified public accountant at Deloitte in Kansas City. She is an AICPA Foundation Accounting Doctoral Scholar and received her Ph.D. from the University of Missouri. Anne earned her B.S. and M.S. in Accounting from the University of Kansas.

Kelvin B. Bailey is the Americas Financial Controller at Microsoft, with 15 years of experience. He holds an MBA from TCU and a BS in Finance from UTA. A fun fact about Kelvin is that he has swam with sharks in Hawaii and the Dominican Republic. Dannetta Bland is an experienced leader with over 20 years of demonstrated history in management consulting, specializing in the energy and financial services industries. She is skilled in Corporate Governance, Sustainability, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Enterprise Transformation, Executive Learning, Development and Transition, and Crisis Management. Dannetta's passion lies at the intersections of social impact, governance, and personal development. She has led more than 500 in-person and virtual sessions. She has worked with Board and C-suite clients across various sectors, including energy, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, retail, government, healthcare, technology, and financial services in public, private, and non-profit arenas. Outside of work, Dannetta is actively involved in community initiatives focused on diversity and inclusion for women, STEM education, and sustainability initiatives.

CIA, CPA, PHR Retired CPA and HR Professional

Odell L. Brown, CIA, CPA, PHR, is a retired CPA and HR professional with 41 years of experience in auditing, financial reporting, and human resources. He holds a BS in Accounting, an MS in Human Resources and Training, and an MA in Professional Counseling. With certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Odell has made significant contributions to his field. A travel enthusiast, he has visited 46 of the 50 states, with four more to go. Guided by the quote, "Until purpose is discovered, existence has no meaning," Odell enjoys reading and engaging in self- development activities. His high school superlative is "Most likely to succeed in business." He lives by his mission statement: "To endeavor to be the best that God would have me to be while positively impacting the lives of others."

Audit and Assurance Senior Manager Deloitte.

Aaron Brown is a Senior Manager at Deloitte. He leverages his CPA credentials and eleven years of assurance experience to deliver high-quality audit advisory services. He obtained his BA at Morehouse College and his Master’s in Accounting at Wake Forest University. Aaron also supported the Audit Chief Inclusion Officer as part of the Inclusion Management Development Program (MDP), where Aaron helped to create and implement strategies to enhance Deloitte's efforts in Diversity & Inclusion pillars, such as diversity recruiting, leadership development programs for minority professionals, and professional organization national convention coordination. He enjoys learning new things and traveling abroad for work, where, in fact, he completed French Studies at the Institut de Francais in 2015.

Travis Lamarlo Brown brings a wealth of experience to his role as Director/Senior Manager at KPMG, having thrived in the industry for the past 12 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing alongside a Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi. This dual focus, coupled with his licensures as a CPA in both Texas and Mississippi, demonstrates his commitment to financial expertise. Surprisingly, his career path wasn't always predetermined, as evidenced by his fun fact: "I never thought I'd be an accountant!" Brown finds inspiration in the quote, "If you have a dream, you have to protect it". Marketing Professor TCU Neeley School of Business

Elijah Clark is a highly experienced educator and business and marketing advisor. He holds a Doctorate of Business Administration in Marketing, a Master’s of Science in Digital Marketing, a Bachelor’s of Science in Brand Art & Design, and has completed sales growth training at Cornell University. He is an inspirational speaker, mentor, scholar, author, consultant, investor, multi-business owner, and Air Force veteran in logistics operations. In addition to being a business advisor, Dr. Clark is a Business, Marketing, Leadership, and Consumer Behavior Professor and Instructor of Digital Marketing, Communication, and Sales at Texas Christian University (TCU). He helps to analyze the rationale behind why businesses aren’t achieving their goals and recommends strategies that help quickly improve sales, productivity, and customer experiences. That position belongs to his family. He has been married to his wife, Anastasia, since 2006. They have two sons, Malachi and Elisha. They live just outside of Dallas,Texas, in Arlington.

Connie Coffey is the EVP - Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at GM Financial Company Inc., where she has worked for 25 years, following six years at PWC. She holds a BBA in Accounting from TCU and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). A fun fact about Connie is that she loves to watch college football. Her favorite quote is by Thomas Edison: "Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do." John V. Roach Dean

Professor of Management

Craig Crossland is the John V. Roach Dean and Professor of Management in the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University. He received his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University and holds degrees from the University of Queensland (Australia) and University College Dublin (Ireland). His previous academic positions were at the University of Notre Dame and the University of Texas at Austin. Craig's research is in the area of strategic management, with a focus on senior executives and their effects on organizational outcomes. His work has been published in a range of top-tier management and business outlets. Craig has held a series of administrative and leadership roles, including department chair, associate dean, provost's fellow, conference program chair, and associate editor. He currently serves as treasurer and director of the Strategic Management Society. Before entering academia, Craig worked as a physical therapist and in product development within the medical device industry.

Executive Director, Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation TCU Neeley School of Business

Rodney D’Souza is the Managing Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Texas Christian University, home to a top-ranked entrepreneurship program in the nation. He is dedicated to helping students and faculty turn their ideas into sustainable businesses and has developed numerous cross-campus programs to support entrepreneurs, including accelerators, angel funds, internships, and mentorship programs. Rodney holds a PhD from the University of Louisville, an MBA from Northern Kentucky University, and an MS from the University of Pune. His areas of expertise include Venture Capital and Entrepreneurial Competencies.

Terrence Maiden currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner for Russell Glen, a real estate development and investment company that is based in Dallas, Texas. He draws on more than two decades of real estate experience to lead and inspire the company’s growth. Terrence is widely recognized for his leadership and vision in the commercial real estate development industry. Terrence currently serves as Chairman of the Maiden Foundation, a nonprofit organization that invests in educational and community revitalization projects. Terrence received a Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree from Texas Christian University, where he and his identical twin brother Tim were standout football players for the Horned Frogs. In 2015 both Maiden brothers were inducted in Texas Christian University Hall of Fame. He is also actively involved in many other charitable/civic organizations, including Methodist Health System, University of North Texas Dallas Foundation, Harmony Community, and many more.

Moe Malik is an Audit & Assurance partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP with over 15 years of experience. He helps companies with their most challenging accounting and finance problems, providing top-notch service and adding value to their organizations. His work mainly involves auditing large, global public companies, and he is well-versed in SEC matters, including Sarbanes-Oxley. He has handled large transactions like acquisitions and buyouts. From 2013 to 2016, he worked in Deloitte's National Office Accounting Services Group. He was an expert in technical accounting for various transactions under US GAAP and IFRS. His focus areas included consolidations, leases and real estate, cash flow statements, foreign currency, and contingencies.

Aniska is the Vice President of Compliance and Ethics at UPS, a top global logistics company. Over her fourteen-year career at UPS, she has held various roles in the USA, Europe, and Asia, including External Reporting Controller, Chief Accountant for Europe, and APAC Global Accounting Center Controller. Before her current position, she served as Vice President of the Global Accounting Centers and Vice President of Investor Relations. Before joining UPS, Aniska was a senior manager and auditor at KPMG, gaining experience in various industries. She also developed training courses, served as a national instructor, and was Vice-Chair of the Atlanta Chapter of the KPMG Network of Women. Aniska is a Certified Public Accountant with degrees from the College of the Bahamas, Stephen F. Austin State University, and the University of North Alabama. Aniska represents UPS on the board for the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta and sponsors two annual scholarships at her high school alma mater. She enjoys traveling, social events, mentoring, and movie nights with her husband Sharran and their 13- year-old son Malachi.

Ronald C. Parker is the President and CEO of R&P Parker Holdings, LLC, with 48 years of working experience. He was drafted by the NFL's Chicago Bears. Additionally, he is a proud 4th-generation rancher. Parker is a graduate of Texas Christian University (TCU), holding a B.A. in Political Science. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for TCU, serves as Chair of the University’s Development Committee, and is on the Board of Advisors for TCU’s Neely School of Business. Parker is an NACD Board Fellow and a frequent speaker on governance, diversity & inclusion, and leadership matters. He resides in Plano, Texas.

Sean Payne is an Investment Analyst for TCU Investment Management and works directly with senior investment staff to support the diligence, execution, and monitoring of investments across asset classes. Mr. Payne is the inaugural member of the TCU Investment Management’s Investment Analyst Program. Previously, he worked for Goldman Sachs in Dallas. Mr. Payne graduated from TCU magna cum laude with a BBA in Finance and Accounting.

ALICIA EDDINGTON POULLARD

ACAP Program Administrator

Alicia began her career teaching Business Communications at DCCCD for 20 years, where she also worked on diversity initiatives. She then joined SMU as Assistant Director for the Cox School of Business’ Undergraduate Office, teaching and advising students in Accounting, Finance, and Financial Consulting. As Faculty Advisor for the NABA, ALPFA, and Ascend chapters, she helped establish these groups on campus. While at SMU, she pursued a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration and Leadership, focusing on accounting success at predominantly white universities. Alicia's involvement with ACAP started in her first week at SMU, leading to a lasting relationship and her current role as TCU Program Administrator. Even in retirement, she continues to support students, ensuring her positive impact endures for future generations.

Cal Quigley IV is an Air Force Veteran and a professor of Global Business, Ethics, and Investing at the Neeley School of Business at TCU. Dr. Quigley received his B.S. in Information Technology while serving on active duty in the United States Air Force (National Louis University), M.B.A in finance from Texas Christian University. Tracy Syler-Jones served as TCU’s Vice Chancellor of Marketing and Communication before her retirement in June 2024. She reports to the chancellor and serves as the university’s chief marketing and communication strategist. Syler-Jones oversees the development of integrated marketing and communication plans to advance TCU’s brand, visibility, and academic reputation among key audiences. Her team was responsible for managing the university’s image daily and during crises, developing and implementing university- wide website and social media plans, communicating with alumni and donors, supporting admission marketing, developing key publications and advertising campaigns, and overseeing special events, such as Commencement. Trevon Thomas is a smart and loving kid from Desoto, TX, with a knack for learning and success. He believes that life is for the living and enjoys spending time with his friends and family, top golfing and spades, listening to podcasts, studying business theories, and traveling to places such as China, Mexico, Indonesia, France, and Switzerland. He attended Desoto High School, where he discovered his deep passion for business by participating in his beloved Accounting Career Awareness Program (ACAP) during his junior and senior years.
