National Energy Board Notice of Public Hearing OH-002-2013

The National Energy Board (NEB or Board) announced a public hearing to consider an application from Enbridge Pipelines Inc. (Enbridge) under the National Energy Board Act (NEB Act) to reverse the 639 km segment of pipeline from North Westover, Ontario to Montréal, Québec, with an additional request to increase the capacity of the entire Line 9 from 240,000 to approximately 300,000 bpd through the introduction of a drag reducing agent, and a request to revise the Line 9 Rules and Regulations Tariff to allow for the transportation of heavy crude. The Application and all other submissions are available for viewing electronically on the Board’s website at www.neb-one.gc.ca under “Line 9B Reversal and Line 9 Capacity Expansion Project”, or in paper copy at the Board’s Library, 1st Floor, 444 – 7th Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta. PUBLIC HEARING The Board has decided to undertake a written hearing process with oral final argument.
