In early 2022, Deputy for the Orient, SGIG William “ Chief ” Harris, Jr., summoned the Louisiana Fraters and Loyal Ladies to convene in Baton Rouge to hold a Pelican Council of Deliberations. The session, hosted by Eureka Consistory No. 7 and New Orleans Assembly No. 1, was a great success as over 300 Fraters were in attendance. “ The exceptional attendance and participation at this session highlights the post - pandemic health and strength of Louisiana PHA Scottish Rite ”, SGIG William “ Chief ” Harris. In addition to 2 days of meetings, Frater and Loyal Ladies also participated in social gatherings, a joint Sunday morning devotion service, and a Saturday night banquet that featured a Capping ceremony for the newly advanced Sublime Princes. 2022 Pelican Council of Deliberation Success
