Top Dollar Angus steers and heifers at the 2022 Superior Livestock Bellringer sale saw an average $11.35 per head above the average. Top Dollar Angus helped customers’ genetic investments in the Bieber Red Angus, Schriefer Red Angus and Huber EY Red Angus programs stand out! Customers were in the Bellringer sale. HESTER FARMS ,Keeline, Wyoming, marketed 200 steers and 106 head of heifers at Torrington Livestock Auction. Their sponsorship was provided by Ken Haas Angus. Hester’s 200 steers achieved a $44.42 premium per head above the average for the day while the 106 heifers brought $24.75 per head over average. A commendable achievement at the reputable Torrington Livestock Auction. JEFF FORSTING , Columbia, South Dakota, sold 103 Top Dollar Angus-qualified steers and heifers at Hub City Livestock Auction, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Their sponsorship was provided by Hart Angus Farms, South Dakota. Forsting’s cattle brought a healthy $21.14 per head above market average for their weight, sex and group size. That’s a good return on a $4 investment.
MARK MORLOCK , Eureka, South Dakota, sold 56 head of Top Dollar Angus-qualified steers and 50 head of Top Dollar Angus heifers at Hub City Livestock Auction. Hart Angus sponsored the program. Mark’s 50 head of Top Dollar Angus- qualifed steers returned an additional $41.48 per head above market average for their weight and sex with the heifer mates beating the market average by a $38.35 per head at the very respectable Hub City Livestock Auction average.
ALLEN OLSON , Box Elder, South Dakota, marketed 81 head of Top Dollar Angus- qualifed steers at Philip Livestock Auction, Philip, South Dakota. The sponsorship was provided by Lone Tree Red Angus. At the end of day, Olson’s Top Dollar Angus-qualified steers averaged a healthy $63.95 per head above the market average for their weight, sex and group size.
