Old Akko (Acre) is a port city situated on a peninsula on the Mediterranean coast in northern Israel. It is known for its well-preserved old city walls. A visit to this ancient city is an important part of the Holy Land experience and one of Israel’s main tourist destinations. It is also recommended to visit the galleries in the Turkish Bazaar and the “Okashi” Art Museum as well as the “Treasures in the Walls” Museum.
