CREDIT CARD PAYMENT SOLUTION SaskEnergy wanted to implement a solution to accept credit card payments from its distribution utility customers and the timelines were very short. In order to meet the desired timelines, SaskEnergy leveraged the existing agreement between SaskPower and Moneris and successfully implemented a credit card payments solution for its customers. This alleviated the need to undertake a full RFP for the solution which would have added a number of months to implementation.
COLLABORATION AND DIVERSITY The Diversity and Inclusion Network (DIN) includes Saskatchewan Crown corporations, Aboriginal Government Employees Network, Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan, the Ministry of Highways, and a number of leading Saskatchewan employers and associations. DIN members worked together to coordinate and plan National Indigenous Peoples Day events in June and October of 2020, as well as Orange Shirt Day activities in September 2020. COVID-19 added new challenges, requiring a shift to virtual events, but all events were successful with strong participation and positive feedback received.
