In “The Infinite Game,” author Simon Sinek refers to businesses as “unending” games. In business, players change (employees come and go), rules change (goals and priorities are updated), and the business lasts as long as it needs to. Sinek compares this to “finite games,” like sports or board games, which have clear rules, players, and an end. But it’s not the games themselves he’s interested in.
