Most of the Salers and Optimizer bulls are tested homozygous polled and homozygous black which is noted in each foot note, with many that were not tested still have a high probability of both! These prospect bulls came off of great summer and fall grass! Take a look at what these guys test gained when started on a high roughage feed ration! Nothing better than low maintenance calving and cattle that can add extra pounds in a short amount of time on the other end! Starting another calving season we are always glad we remember to “stick to our guns” and select for calving ease, vigor, and udder quality within our cow herd and bull selection!!
