AVIS DE RÉUNION PUBLIQUE 1 AGRANDISSEMENT DE L'USINE DE TRAITEMENT DES EAUX POTABLES DE ROCKLAND ET DE LA STATION DE POMPAGE CARON La Cité de Clarence-Rockland entreprend une étude visant à identifier et à examiner les options possibles pour soutenir l'agrandissement de l'usine de traitement des eaux potables de Rockland et de la station de pompage de surpression (SPS) de Caron (l'étude). L'étude répondra aux exigences du processus d'évaluation environnementale municipale de catégorie C (EEM, 2024) conformément aux exigences de la Loi sur l'aménagement du territoire de l'Ontario et de la Loi sur les évaluations environnementales de l'Ontario (phases 1 à 4 du processus d'EEM de catégorie C). À ce titre, une consultation approfondie du public et des organismes techniques jouera un rôle clé dans l'élaboration des recommandations de l'étude.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT MEETING 1 EXPANSION OF THE ROCKLAND WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND THE CARON BOOSTER PUMPING STATION The City of Clarence-Rockland is undertaking a study to identify and consider options to support the Expansion of the Rockland Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and the Caron Booster Pumping Station (BPS) (the Study). The Study will fulfill the requirements of a Schedule C Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process (MEA, 2024) in accordance with the requirements of the Ontario Planning Act and Ontario Environmental Assessment Act (Phases 1 through 4 of the MEA Class EA process). As such, extensive public and technical agency consultation will play a key role in developing the study recommendations.

This first Public Information Centre (PIC) is being hosted to present the alternatives being considered to expand the Rockland WTP and Caron BPS. The PIC will be held as an informal “Open House” with materials pertaining to the study on display and members of the project team on hand to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project. Ce premier centre d'information publique (CIP) est organisé afin de présenter les différentes options envisagées pour agrandir l'usine de traitement des eaux potables de Rockland et la station de surpression de Caron. Le CIP se déroulera sous la forme d'une « journée portes ouvertes » informelle, au cours de laquelle des documents relatifs à l'étude seront exposés et les membres de l'équipe du projet seront présents pour répondre aux questions et discuter des enjeux liés au projet.
