Les conseillers municipaux de Clarence-Rockland (C-R) ont accepté la demande de la Coalition Prescott Russell contre la violence faite aux femmes de déplacer temporairement le monument dédié aux femmes vic- times de violence du parc Simon à l’hôtel de ville. Le conseil municipal a pris cette déci- sion lors de sa réunion du 13 août. Depuis des années, la coalition organise chaque année, le 6 décembre, une veillée devant le monument en mémoire de la tragédie de la Polytechnique de 1989 et en hommage aux femmes victimes de féminicides.
