Polar Guide for Polar Adventure Co.

ARCTIC WILDLIFE There are over 5,500 species of animals that live in the Arctic. For the purposes of this guide, we're including the most common animals found throughout the Arctic region. Many arctic animals have adapted over time to deal with the extreme cold. Some of these animals include the harp seal, walrus, arctic fox, reindeer, beluga whale and narwhal. If you're a bird lover, there are over 280 species of birds that live in the Arctic. No arctic expedition would be complete without a polar bear sighting. Polar bears are located throughout the Arctic region. It's estimated that only 35,000 are still left in the wild.
