O ften, it seems, my patients feel useless. Many are bed-bound. They feel that their lives are about over, and that they are of no use to anyone. They might as well be dead. I tell them, “That’s not true. You’re not useless. There is one thing that you can do, and that is pray.” I tell them they have time which many of us don’t have; that the prayers they pray will long outlive them. If they want to invest in the future of their family, church, nation, and those they love, then pray. d Pray WHEN YOU FEEL USELESS
