Silver Anniversary Yucca x. interspecific ‘Silver Anniversary’ PP 31,437
Bright Star Yucca gloriosa W ALBERTON’S ® ‘Walbristar’ PP 17,653 Audaciously colored rosettes of sword-like green leaves with bright yellow edges are sure to add drama to the landscape. A combination of stress and age will bring in tones of bright pink to the foliage. On tall flower stems, the deep pink buds open to fragrant, white, bell-shaped blooms.
Silver Anniversary forms a vigorous 2’ tall x 4’ wide, fast-offsetting clump of broad, chalky blue foliage. The rosettes are topped with dramatically tall flower spikes that emerge burgundy in late spring. The spikes open to reveal a tower of white bell-shaped flowers. This blue-leaved hybrid’s vigor and offsetting nature are dramatically more impressive than other species and varieties. Silver Anniversary is a cross of two North American species, Yucca filamentosa and Yucca pallida.
