Rev. Elisa Baptiste
A woman who has always exhibited unparalleled charisma, a tried and proven woman after God’s own heart; Rev. Baptiste is often referred to as power packed. Small in physique, yet mighty in word! She is known for her ability to bring forth such an anointed and powerful word that one is left with no doubt that there is an Almighty God! Rev. Baptiste holds a host of certifications and graduate degrees. This proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has spent the last 35 years working in the healthcare industry and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Care Purchasing Services focused on serving the Senior Living Population. In addition to her current role, Rev. Baptiste is also the President of the LCS Foundation, with a 3- pillar mission: providing scholarships for young people interested in a career within senior living, funding research to find the first survivor of Alzheimer’s and finally, providing short-term financial assistance to employees faced with a life-crisis. Rev. Baptiste is also, as she defines, a Cancer Conqueror, as she was diagnosed in 2004 with Breast Cancer and is now a 20-year Conqueror, Praise God! Rev. Baptiste received her ministerial training, licensing, and ordination under the leadership of Bishop Joseph Walker, III from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Nashville, TN, as well as across various institutions of theological higher learning. Rev. Baptiste fined tuned her outstanding leadership gifts by serving under Pastor Denny Davis as a member of the senior servant leadership team at St. John Church Unleashed of Grand Prairie and Southlake, TX. Most recently, Rev. Baptiste served as the Lead Associate Minister at The Fountain under the leadership of Pastor Wayne Lomax as well as Chair of the Board of Directors for The Fountain Church for several years. After the retirement of Pastor Lomax in December 2023, Rev. Baptiste has continued in the service of the Lord with the new merged congregation under the name of COOL Church, led by Pastors Terrance and Johanne Wilson. In 2022, Rev. Baptiste married Mr. Bernard Dawson and together they have four children and three grandsons.
