Hello Sisters in Christ!
I count it ALL JOY that you are at St. Paul to experience a spirit-filled weekend in fellowship with the Lord. You know, David, said to be a man after God’s own heart, had moments in life that were outright challenging, chaotic, and tumultuous. Some of these moments were caused by his own actions and had such a profound impact of those around him. The scriptures indicate that his life experiences left him discouraged, in agony, and deep regret. Yet, there was one thing that David knew and did well. He knew how to call on the Name of the Lord. When David called upon the Name of the Lord, the Lord saw fit to help David at his time of need. My sister, I hope that you know that the Lord has the same love for you and me. We were not meant to live in a posture of stress and fear. Our Heavenly Father wants us to give our burdens to him. No matter how great or small, terrible, hurtful, or regrettable, God desires to be our burden bearer and lifter of our souls. Say it with me: GOD IS A BURDEN BEARER AND SUSTAINER FOR YOU AND FOR ME! It is my prayer that the 2024 Renew Women’s Conference will be just the event to remind you of God’s faithfulness and unfailing love. Let this conference be your space to receive clarity, focus, and direction from the Lord. Allow yourself to practice the “ABCs of Faith” as prescribed by Pastor Jackson this past Sunday. A ccept what God says without conditions. B lock out the distractions and detractors. C hange your attitude and mindset. The songwriter said it well, “God has a blessing with your name on it!” GET READY! IT’S TIME TO BE RENEWED!
