Holiness is a bit hard to wrap our minds around because we live in a world filled with hatred, evil, crime, injustice, etc., but the word holy means that God is without sin or evil of any kind. He is pure and good in every conceivable way. There is no evil or badness in God. As you come to know God and walk in harmony with Him, you will learn that He longs to lead and guide you so that you might know life to the full. John 10:10 says, “The thief (Satan) comes only to steal, and kill and destroy; I (Jesus) have come that you may have life and have it to the full.” So, the question we must ask ourselves is what went wrong. Why are most people not living life to the full? — The Bible teaches that it is because of sin. Sin is defined as our active or passive rebellion against God. Tragically, when God created Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, they blew it. Eve was tricked by Satan into disobeying God. Adam
