willfully chose to sin and disobey God, and they became spiritually separated from God (Genesis 3; Isaiah 6:1-5; 59:2; Romans 6:23]. Just as dogs beget dogs, sinners beget sinners. Adam’s sin got passed on to the rest of humanity [Psalm 51:5; Romans 5:12-21]. Ever since mankind has been stubbornly choosing to do its own thing, defying God and thumbing their noses in the face of God. Because God hates sin, and because we are all “sinners,” (morally guilty before God) [Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23], we are not only spiritually separated from God, but we are now under God’s wrath and judgment [Ezekiel 18:20,21; Romans 1:18; 5:9; Ephesians 2:1-4; Hebrews 10:31]. In other words, spiritually we are all in BIG trouble. We desperately need a Savior, someone to save us from our sin and God’s wrath. Whether we have sinned a little or sinned a lot, we’re still guilty before a holy God [James 2:10]. It is like the guy who said, “But Judge,
