forgiveness, you can have complete confidence that God will hear and answer your prayer. Paul wrote, “…if you confess with your mouth that ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved…Everyone (that’s you!) who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” [Romans 10:9,13] These are God’s promises! This is where faith comes in. Faith is simply believing God will honor and keep His promises. The moment you believe and place your faith in Christ, your name is written in the “ book of life .” [Revelation 3:5; 13:8; 17:8]. Why is this important? Because Revelation 20:15 says, “If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire (h ell).” Being forgiven and in right relationship with God is everything. Putting it bluntly, choosing or not choosing to receive God’s offer of total forgiveness is the difference between going to heaven or hell.
