Belief In A God You Can't See

1. Many prophecies, such as Daniel 9; Zechariah, chapters 12 and 14; Matthew 24; and Revelation 7, center on Israel because God has not forgotten his promises to the Jewish people. I believe that Old Testament passages that many Jewish teachers previously allegorized and spiritualized will literally come true. One of the most astounding prophecies in the entire Bible is found in Ezekiel, chapter 37:1-14 as well as Daniel 9:27, where it was prophesied that Israel would become a nation again. After nearly 2,600 years, on May 14, 1948, Israel became a nation again! Paul in Romans 11:20, 24-29 states that God is not finished with the Jews and that God’s “calling” for them as a nation is “irrevocable” (verse 29). Jesus clearly assumed Israel’s exist ence at the time of His return [Matthew 19:28; 24:15-22; Luke 22:28-30]. When Jesus returns the Bible says His feet will step down on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem [Zechariah 14:2-9].
