THE IMPACT OF ONE ALUMNUS Jeremy Hurley (‘12) has seen firsthand how Word of Life (WOL) can trans- form lives. As the Student Director at Epic Church in Palm Coast, Florida, he’s led his It’s that kind of deep, spiritual impact that drives Jeremy to keep pointing students toward the Bible Institute.

“I’ve given out eight Alumni Encour- agement Awards in the past five years – and this fall, I’ll be giving five more to seniors heading to WOL New York. $750 may not sound like much, but it’s often just enough to get a student to say, ‘Maybe I can actually do this.’ Every one of them has thanked me.”

“What motivates me most is the expe- rience and the truth that WOL offers. In a world where AI is on the rise and truth feels harder to find, I’m confident that truth is taught at WOL. And as long as that’s happening, my students will always be encouraged to go.” The impact doesn’t end with camp. Jeremy has used the Alumni Encour- agement Award to help launch students into their next step with confidence.
