WHEN CAN WE START THE WEDDING RECEPTION? o The space will be reserved for you starting at 1:00PM the day of your reception. Closer to the date, if there are no other events, this time will be extended to include the morning. The start time of the actual reception is entirely your preference. A typical start time ranges from 5:00PM – 7:00PM. WILL THERE BE MORE THAN ONE WEDDING IN THE SAME EVENING? o It is a possibility that more than one wedding can take place in the same evening. If this happens, we have a series of strategic measures we deploy to ensure everyone has a fabulous experience without interruption. HOW DO WE CHOOSE OUR MENU? o We invite you and your family to attend a complimentary menu tasting. After booking your event, review the menu and decide three of each, hors d’oeuvres, salads, entrees, starches and vegetables, you would like to try. I will then work with Chef to schedule a time when we can meet, taste your selections and design the menu. CAN WE RESERVE OVERNIGHT ROOMS FOR OUR GUESTS? o I can set up a room block for you and outline the details in the contract. The number of rooms you choose to block off is up to you, we will work together to decide what is best for your group. DO WE HAVE ANY RESTRICTIONS WITH THE VENDORS WE USE FOR THE EVENT? o You are free to use your choice of vendors; we do require a copy of their Certificate of Liability Insurance prior to the event. Our list of preferred vendors is included with this menu. This list consists of trustworthy companies that provide a high-quality product. HOW MUCH WILL ALL OF THIS COST? o Each wedding is different, but the base of the expense begins with the food and beverage minimum. This is the minimum amount you must spend on food and hosted beverage and is based on the amount of space you will use for the reception. Any and all food and beverage you order will go towards this minimum (with the exception of cash bar). Your actual cost is dependent on your selections and attendance. The food and beverage minimum does not include a service charge of 24 percent and sales tax, which is 10.75 percent. WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE? o The food and beverage minimum specified in your contract is divided into four payments, with the first due at the time of contract signing. The following three payments are divided up in the remaining time before the event. WHAT IS INCLUDED? o Included in your wedding reception at no charge to you: tables and chairs, full length table cloths and napkins in your choice of white or black, all linens for our tables, any staging you might need, cake cutting with service or display, custom sized dance floor, plus all set up and me, your Certified Marriott Wedding Coordinator.
