Newry testing company nurture young talent

company, Resonate Testing Ltd, has invested in future

development by offering a number of intern and graduate opportunities. The company specialises in high quality fire and flammability, vibration and shock, environmental and climatic testing and certification services. We have had some fantastic talent come through our doors who we are sure will go on to carve successful careers.” Newry student, Méabh McMahon, who is studying Aero-Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, was one such student who recently completed a placement with Resonate Testing Ltd. ViperClip inventors secure£350K investment

G ray’s Clip, the local start-up closed a £350,000 funding round with local business angels to bring its innovative new insulated cable ViperClip to market. Run by Lisburn-based co- founders, Davy and Julie Gray, Gray’s Clip secured £250,000 of investment from a group of nine private investors through the Halo Business Angel Network and a further £100,000 from Co-Fund NI, part of Invest Northern Ireland’s Access to which recently appeared on TV’s Dragons’ Den has successfully

Mercury gives pro-bono advice for GoodCounsel GAA&CamogieClub

M ercury’s New Children’s Hospital (NCH) project team members recently undertook a pro-bono Periodic Inspection Report for an electrical installation at Good Counsel GAA club. Project team members also conducted several site visits of the clubhouse to survey and best advise the members of the Good Counsel, Chairman and Executive Committee Board on how to receive the most out of their current refurbishment of their clubhouse at Davitt Rd, Dublin, near
