A near fine book, in a very good bright dustwrap - per. [43689] £1,500 The first of the Circus books. Along with The Secret Island, The Wishing Chair and The Enchanted Wood, it was published by Newnes between 1937-1939 in a larger format with colour frontis- pieces. All four books were the first of popular series and all four are now extremely scarce as first editions.
