3-06 GROUND COVER PROGRAM
New to the MYP Catalog for ’25 is our perennial groundcover program for retail garden centers and landscapers. As MYP works to be your one stop shop for all your growing and garden center needs, this new product line makes it easy to get these reliable overwintered perennials that are ready for early spring planting or retail benches. Planted in the late summer and fall before, these hardy perennials are bulked while the weather is nice and then put to sleep in near freezing cold frames for the winter. As spring warms up and the earth comes back to life, these groundcovers wake up in their protected cold frame they are grown in. Trays are shipped to customers in the early spring season when growers are getting ready to open their retail outlets. Put these trays on the bench and give customers a choice of tried and true proven varieties to plant in their home landscapes.
