Recent trends have shown an increasing prevalence of fentanyl-laced cocaine, leading to heightened risks of overdose and death. This alarming phenomenon blurs the lines between stimulant and opioid use, creating a perfect storm of addiction and mortality. SIGNS OF OVERDOSE Unresponsiveness: The person cannot be woken up, or responds only minimally. Slow or Shallow Breathing: Breathing may be slow, irregular, or very shallow. Blue Lips or Fingertips: Skin or lips may appear bluish or grayish. Choking or Gurgling Sounds: Gurgling or choking sounds while breathing. Pinpoint Pupils: Pupils may become extremely small. Loss of Consciousness: The person is unconscious or semi-conscious. Limp Body: The person’s body feels limp or unresponsive. Vomiting: The person may vomit or have difficulty staying conscious. Confusion or Disorientation: They may appear confused or disoriented. Seizures : In some cases, seizures may occur. Weak Pulse: Pulse may become weak or irregular.
