Faivre, a courageous Protestant pastor of Huguenot descent, has been the instrument that God has used to bring the light of Scripture truth to thousands of persons through the reading of the Faivre Annotated New Testament. Being thoroughly familiar with the tenets of the Roman Catholic Church through almost a quarter of a century’s dealing with members of that body in the southwest of France, Pastor Faivre prayerfully has prepared 540 notes and 391 footnotes whose object is to reveal the truth of the Word of God to those of the Catholic faith. These comments, in italics, are interspersed in the Sacred Text. More than 200.000 copies in French have been circulated, and 100.000 copies have been printed in Spanish, with requests for translation in Italian, German, Polish, Portuguese, and Chinese. Neither Pastor Faivre nor the translators derive financial profit from this work. The^Testament has 478 pages, 6 1/ix 4 inches.
