Binelas was acquired by the Red Sox along with Jackie Bradley Jr. and David Hamilton from the Milwaukee Brewers, in exchange for OF Hunter Renfroe on December 1, 2021. He spent most of 2022- 2024 with Portland before making his WooSox debut in September of 2024.
