Has appeared in the big leagues with Pittsburgh (2018-2020), the Cubs (2023), and Yankees (2024). He did not pitch in either 2021 or 2022 following his second Tommy John surgery in October of 2020. Burdi was signed by the Red Sox as a Minor League free agent in February, 2025. Nick’s younger brother Zack has pitched in the majors with the White Sox, Orioles, and Rays and his older brother Drew played quarterback and receiver at Western Michigan University.
