Birthplace: Bryan, TX Age: 25 (turns 26 on August 30) Was named 2024 Red Sox Minor League Starting Pitcher of the Year after going 8-5 with a 3.08 ERA over 25 starts with Portland (21) and Worcester (4). He is ranked by Baseball America as having the Best Control among all Red Sox Minor League hurlers. The Texas native missed his junior season at Texas Tech University after undergoing Tommy John surgery in March of 2021, but was still Boston’s 8th round pick in the 2021 Draft.
