Harrison was acquired by the Red Sox from the San Francisco Giants on June 15, 2025 as part of the trade that sent Rafael Devers to SF. Se- lected by San Francisco in the third round of the 2020 First-Year Player Draft out of De La Salle High School in Concord, CA, the left-hander entered 2024 ranked by MLB.com as the Giants’ No. 1 prospect and baseball’s No. 23 overall prospect. He spent all of 2024 with SF making 24 starts for the Giants and posting a 7-7 record with a 4.56 ERA.
