Kolozsvary (coals-VARE-e) started this season in Double-A Portland to help the Sea Dogs’ catching sit- uation before joining the WooSox on April 15. Signed with the Red Sox as a Minor League free agent on De- cember 12, 2023, he spent all of 2024 with the WooSox and provided veteran leadership both on and off the field. Mark has played in 11 Major League games with Cincinnati (2022) and Baltimore (2023). The Flori- da native was a walk-on at the University of Florida where he helped the Gators win the 2017 College World Series. “Kolo” won a Silver Medal in baseball at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, where he was teammates with current Red Sox 1B Triston Casas.
