Sabol was acquired from San Francisco in January, 2025 in exchange for interna- tional bonus pool space. He appeared in 110 games for the Giants in 2023 (batting .235 with 13 HR & 44 RBI) and 11 games for SF in 2024 (.313). He spent most of last season with Triple-A Sacramento where he hit .245 with 12 HR & 54 RBI in 97 games for the River Cats. The California native, who played collegiately at USC, is of Samoan heritage and is second cousin to former Pittsburgh Steeler and NFL Hall of Famer Troy Polamalu.
