Real recognition from real teammates across Franklin Building Supply. WOW To: Kevin Bothwell | From: Daniel Midby | Bellevue Customer came in after 5:00 while we were closing down. Kevin showed no hesitation in helping them with what they needed and even went and opened up the warehouse to get them loaded. That is the kind of customer service that helps us separate ourselves from the competition. Kevin, I appreciate you going the extra mile to take care of the customer. GUIDE To: Nathan Bruns | From: Daniel Midby | Bellevue I can’t say enough about the work Nate has been putting in. He has taken on a huge product line with Marvin windows, all while still managing his door business and training a new account coordinator. What I really appreciate is the focus and effort Nate has put into creating more structure and thoroughness around training and onboarding to help Amanda get up to speed quickly. He is putting his energy where it matters most: the training and development of his people. Thanks for all your hard work, Nate. It does not go unnoticed. HIGH FIVES!

SAFE To: Fidel and Nate | From: Javan Stansell | Bellevue

I put a big pallet upstairs by the insulation that had water pooled in the packaging that I didn’t see. I came in for our huddle for 20 minutes and when I came back out there was a huge puddle of water starting to drip through the floor onto the special order doors below. Fidel and Nate were already on it with a wet vac and brooms. Could’ve been a costly accident if some doors had gotten ruined. Thank you for your quick response and keeping cool heads! MAKING BUILDING EASY To: Brady Kowitz | From: Derek Byington | Pocatello Brady had a client with a disability (deaf). Brady was exceptionally patient and spoke through a phone to a secondary person who was then translating to ASL for the client. He was thorough, helpful, and patient. STRIVE Tristen Benavidez (Boise) and Clinton Hawks (Caldwell) | From: Clinton Hawks | Caldwell / Boise I was out on a late run yesterday, making a delivery in Kuna, when Tristen spotted me working out of a Caldwell Franklin truck. He recognized how late it was and that I was a long way from home base. Most people might think, “Glad that’s not me,” and keep heading home. Not Tristen. He stopped, checked in, and offered a helping hand. With a second Moffett and Tristen’s help, we were able to cut my delivery time in half. It’s a great feeling knowing we have teammates from other locations looking out for one another. That kind of teamwork and support speaks volumes about who we are.

In the Spotlight

In the Spotlight Chuy Castro Keeps Safety, Teamwork, and Support Front and Center

At Franklin Building Supply, we know great teams are built by great people. Every day, our employees bring dedication, hard work, and positivity to the job, helping create a culture where teamwork and support matter just as much as the work itself. Team members like Chuy Castro are a perfect example of the difference one person can make. Chuy has been with us for a little over six months as a production lead at our Idaho Falls Truss Plant, and he’s already become someone his teammates can count on. His role centers on ensuring everyone in the shop has what they need to succeed. Some days that means stepping in to help build on the production tables. Other days, it means answering questions, solving problems, or helping the crew stay on track. No matter the task, Chuy approaches it with a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.

positivity is contagious, and people naturally gravitate to his upbeat personality. When asked what he enjoys most about his job, his answer was easy, the people! “As someone who always has a smile on my face, regardless of the situation, seeing and making others smile reminds me that there’s always something positive to look forward to,” he says. That mindset reflects the kind of culture we work hard to build at Franklin Building Supply. Strong teams are built by people who care about one another, encourage each other, and create an environment where everyone feels supported. Safety also plays a huge role in Chuy’s day-to-day responsibilities. He’s constantly looking out for the crew and making sure safe practices remain a priority throughout the shop. His attention to detail and commitment to protecting his teammates help create a workplace where everyone can perform at their best. Personal accountability is another thing that motivates him. Chuy says he’s driven

by knowing he only has himself to fall back on, and that mindset pushes him to give his best effort every day. Outside of work, Chuy enjoys spending time outdoors and getting out into nature whenever he can. That same appreciation for positivity, balance, and staying grounded carries over into the workplace, making him such a valued part of the team. We’re grateful to have Chuy on the Franklin Building Supply team and look forward to watching him continue to grow.

What stands out most about Chuy is the energy he brings to the workplace. His
