The Florida Council of Yacht Clubs The Florida Council of Yacht Clubs (FCYC), comprised of 36 yacht clubs including Marco Island, meets six times a year. This year’s meeting locations included the: St Petersburg, Eau Gallie, Marathon, St. Charles, Charlotte Harbor and Florida Yacht Clubs. FCYC meetings are open for all full and associate club members to attend. You can travel by land or take your boat. If you are interested or would like to learn more about FCYC, please contact me. As a note for your calendars, our Marco Island Club will be hosting the general meeting, May 14-18, 2021. FCYC employs government affairs lobbyists, Johnson and Blanton, to overwatch all legislative issues concerning boating and the waterways in Florida. created sun screen rules, much like the State of Hawaii (could move through the rest of the State), (4) new Governor’s appointments regarding Boating Advisory Council, and (5) new water policy reforms proposed by Governor DeSantis.
