adeline and camden’s love story began in a morgantown gym . Camden, originally from Morgantown, had just moved back to town after living in Georgia for a few years. He caught Wheeling native Adeline’s eye in the weight room, and she hoped he would strike up a conversation. Three days later he did, they grabbed a bite to eat after their workout, and the rest is history. Two years later, Camden planned an elaborate proposal that spanned their entire relationship. Each gift he gave Adeline kept to one theme—something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. She didn’t realize it until, one August day, he handed her a stack of letters that explained the significance of each gift and proposed to her with her grandmother’s engagement ring—something borrowed. The couple chose a traditional Catholic ceremony in the church where Adeline had received all of her sacraments. The bride knew exactly what she wanted in a wedding dress and searched everywhere. She saw a Facebook ad for a trunk show, and there found the dress she’d been looking for. She carried a bouquet of blush- colored flowers and greenery. After vows were exchanged, the couple joined friends and family for a reception at River City in Wheeling. Rather than a traditional large wedding cake, the couple chose to serve sheet cakes to their guests and have a small wedding cake made for the occasion. There was also a large cookie table at the reception, and many guests were sent home with as many as they wanted as favors. Following their wedding day, the couple visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Walt Disney World in Orlando for the Fourth of July holiday. They returned home to Wheeling, where Adeline works as a special education teacher and Camden as a firefighter/paramedic for the Wheeling Fire Department.
